Former First Lady Melania Trump is all in behind her husband\u2019s 2024 re-election campaign, Fox News Digital reports. In an interview with that outlet, she said that she is looking forward to working with her husband when he again becomes president toward \u201crestoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength.\u201d<\/p>\n
Continuing, she said that when she again has \u201cthe privilege\u201d to serve as first lady after the 2024 campaign and election, she will continue to work with and on the behalf of children, ensuring that they have the \u201csupport and resources they need to reach their full potential.\u201d
\nShe then highlighted Trump\u2019s record from his first term and argued that he could do so again, telling Fox News Digital, \u201cMy husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again.\u201dMaking her support for him clear, she added, \u201cHe has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength.\u201d
\nSince leaving Washington D.C., Mrs. Trump has extended the program, and founded \u201cFostering the Future,\u201d a \u201cBe Best\u201d initiative aimed at granting computer science scholarships to children aging out of the foster care system, and giving them the academic foundation needed to secure technology-based jobs so that they can become independent and contributing members of society.<\/p>\n
\u201cSince leaving Washington D.C., my commitment to the foster community has grown stronger,\u201d Mrs. Trump told Fox News Digital, pointing to her work in securing scholarships for children in the foster care system with the help of her team, strategic partners and the public.<\/p>\n
Discussing the foster care system and why drawing attention toward helping kids in it, she added,\u201cAt the present time, there are more than 400,000 children in the foster care system, and there is less than a 3% chance of former foster children completing their college education. In fact, many end up on the street, homeless. My objective is to reduce the gap and increase access to higher education for those who leave the foster care system.\u201d<\/p>\n
Continuing, she argued that progress can be made in that realm and that education can help the kids in the system, saying, \u201cI have faith that an education-based foundation will provide these individuals with the skills needed to secure employment and achieve financial stability.\u201d<\/p>\n
