The object we\u2019re going to talk about today definitely fits into this category, and it\u2019s something that you may remember yourself, from many years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The funny-looking tool in the above photo is actually an important sewing tool\u00a0\u2014 it\u2019s a needle threader. These small tools usually consisted of a round metal piece to which a diamond-shaped wire was attached. Many of these needle threaders were\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ehow.com\/info_8577598_history-needle-threader.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">made<\/a>\u00a0from a thin type of metal, such as tin, and had a stamp on the top piece of the Queen\u2019s head.<\/p>\n<p>Curiously enough, this type of needle threader\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ehow.com\/info_8577598_history-needle-threader.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">dates<\/a>\u00a0all the way back to the Victorian era. These needle threaders were inexpensive to make, easy to use, and paid homage to the Queen as an extra bonus. Throughout the early 1900s, different types of needle threaders began to emerge. In 1978, Juki became the first company to incorporate an automatic needle threader into a sewing machine.<\/p>\n<p><iframe id=\"instagram-embed-0\" class=\"instagram-media instagram-media-rendered\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Bm1Fbrhnobu\/embed\/?cr=1&amp;v=14&amp;wp=540&amp;rd=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.goodolddays.com&amp;rp=%2Fhomemaking%2Fdo-you-remember-what-these-funny-looking-objects-are%2F#%7B%22ci%22%3A0%2C%22os%22%3A2033.3000001907349%2C%22ls%22%3A1242.4000000953674%2C%22le%22%3A2026.5%7D\" height=\"746\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-instgrm-payload-id=\"instagram-media-payload-0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>You can still find these vintage needle threaders if you search hard enough, and they\u2019re still totally effective today.
